Inspector/Packer – Kelly, Salt Lake City, UT
Join a leading name in medical manufacturing! Kelly is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inspector/Packer to join our team in Salt Lake City. This critical Light Industrial role ensures the highest quality standards for medical molded plastic components.
Pay: $18 /  hr
Hours: 6:30 am – 6:30 pm (rotating)
Position Overview:
The Inspector/Packer will be responsible for inspecting, weighing, packaging, and sorting medical components, ensuring defective parts are identified. You will use manual dexterity and hand tools for part assembly, conduct visual inspections with magnification, and maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Manually assemble small medical parts and sort products for defects
  • Perform detailed visual inspections, using magnification as needed
  • Complete required production records and work order documentation
  • Weigh, count, package, and label finished products
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to read and follow written procedures
  • Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), experience with inventory systems a plus
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods depending on machine operation
  • Ability to occasionally move/lift up to 25 lbs
  • Work performed in a clean room environment
Schedule & Compensation:
  • A1 Rotating Shift: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
  • 40 hours per week with overtime as needed
