Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all general production duties which include but are not limited to: labeling, capping, bagging, and boxing as described in the PPS (Packaging Process Specification)
  • Read and understand the PPS for packaging instructions, material handling, and shipping procedures
  • Use hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, move, or stack materials or products, as needed
  • Perform any tasks and/or production duties as requested by management
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Must practice good safety habits at all times and be respectful towards all fellow employees

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Pallet jack experience a plus
  • Good communication skills required
  • Must be able to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions
  • Must be able to work as a creative, flexible, innovative, and effective member of a team
  • Must be punctual with good attendance
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., additional weight with assistance
