Kelly Services Temp PB is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer for a temporary assignment in Orlando, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for packing and repacking a variety of food products in a refrigerated environment (32–34°F).
  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials accurately.
  • Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.
  • Clean containers, materials, supplies, and work area with appropriate solutions and hand tools.
  • Examine and inspect products, materials, and containers to ensure packing specifications are met.
  • Load products into package processing equipment and mark or label containers/tags/products as required.
  • Move and sort products, materials, and containers using only hand tools (no equipment will be used).
  • Portion cut meats (steaks, chicken, pork, beef) and load into packing machines.
  • After packing, retrieve completed boxes and palletize for shipment.
  • Accurately record packaging, order, and product information.
  • Remove completed or defective items from the process and seal containers or materials using glues, fasteners, nails, or hand tools.
Requirements:
Must-Have Technical Skills:
  • Good hand speed and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • High accuracy in weighing product and matching tickets to correct locations/packages.
Preferred Technical Skills:
  • Adaptability/flexibility to transition between lines and tasks as production volume varies.
  • Previous experience in production packing preferred but not required.
  • Experience in warehouse and/or refrigerated environments is helpful.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong team player, ability to take direct
  • Open to English and Spanish speakers.
Education/Certification:
  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • No certifications required.
