Machine Operator

Baden, PA

Three Rivers Recycling is a private family-owned scrap metal company serving the Pittsburgh and surrounding area. With our 48 years of experience, we are the top metal recycling company in the area.

We are currently seeking a full-time Machine Operator to join our team in Baden, PA! As a Machine Operator you will set up, operate, and monitor machinery safely and efficiently while ensuring quality standards are met.

Schedule & Pay:

  • $21-$22+ per hour (offer dependent on experience, scrap metal is a plus)
  • Full-time
  • Alternating Saturday’s, 8 am-1 pm
  • Off on major holidays and Sundays
  • Sick time after 90 days probation
  • PTO after 1 year

Qualifications:

  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, reach, climb and bend.
  • Must have at least 1 Year experience with crane or excavator.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus
  • Scrap metal experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Mostly excavator with shear attachment use, but also must be capable of safely loading and unloading vehicles with the crane.
  • Awareness of surroundings to prevent any potential accidents with other equipment, vehicles or pedestrians.
  • Complete daily Inspection Sheet of equipment, prior to operation. Report any equipment issues.
  • Forklift and skid operation and light labor involved in the position
