Job description

Description

We are seeking Box Truck Drivers to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a 26' box truck with a liftgate to deliver doors/windows/trim and other building materials to construction sites. Most deliveries are local (within 100 miles) and always home daily. Delivery assistant/helper provided for all deliveries. Commercial driver license is not required, however a valid DOT Physical/Medical card is required.

Hours are consistent and dependable all year. Shift is generally 6am-4:30pm Mon-Fri, rare Saturday work 6am-10am.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

Dependable driver who actively communicates with company and customers

Safely operate a 26' Box Truck with Liftgate

Load and unload cargo (assisted)

Properly document work and delivery


Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 26' Box Truck with Liftgate

Load and unload cargo

Properly track and document activity log

Report any issues or incidents to company

Inspect truck before and after trip, and maintain a clean and presentable vehicle


Qualifications:

Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields (3+ years preferred)

You must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record

A valid DOT Physical/Medical card is required 

Ability to handle physical workload up to 75lbs unassisted

Strong work ethic and communication skills
