Job description

JOB PURPOSE: 
Responsible for performing lift installs and repairs under the guidance and supervision of the lift team, 
sales associate and home access manager. 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Gather materials to handle on job sites, unload & load materials from trucks. Keep job sites 
clean and cover surfaces with plastic material to protect them. 
Assist with the installation of ceiling, stair, and platform lifts as well as modular ramps. 
Assist with general installation tasks under direction. This would include: cut rails to specified 
dimensions, hold track and brackets in place for fastening or cutting, drill holes in lumber, dig 
and prep for ramps, and work in attic for fastening ceiling track. 
While under supervision, repair lift systems as directed or instructed. 
Assist with specialty installations of lifts 
Run errands for materials/ tools. 
Interact with clients and describe basic services. Refer job related questions to supervisors. 
Ensure Home Access standards and all applicable codes/regulations are followed on site. 
Monitor and maintain tools, storage, maintenance, and resupply while coordinating with other 
staff. 
Provide deliveries when required. 
This position is on the job training. Worker is expected to actively seek improvement of skills 
and knowledge of techniques and tools. Additional training may be provided from the 
manufacture, travel expenses will be paid by the company.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: 
Must be licensed to operate motor vehicle and must maintain personal insurance.

Must be able to drive, navigate over urban, suburban, and rural areas. 
Fluency in verbal and written English based on interview. 
Must be able to safely participate in moving equipment and direct interaction with clients and 
equipment in a variety of environments 
Routinely carry/lift items up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. 
Must be able to climb ladders and crawl in attics.
