Working Model:Onsite

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:45AM - 4:15PM

As a Front Office Associate at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will be the first point of contact for patients and strive to deliver a positive and welcoming experience in every interaction. This position plays an important role in the continuity of care by providing administrative support to patients and stakeholders through appointment scheduling, processing paperwork, and handling inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with all patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
  • Check-in patients for appointments, verify demographic information, provide paperwork, and collect payments.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of care by scheduling patient appointments and collaborating with providers using multiple computer systems.
  • Participate in administrative tasks such as electronic filing, scanning, faxing, mailing in a timely manner.
  • Answer inbound and make outbound phone calls while responding to inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner, providing accurate information or triaging as appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting room space by managing patient paperwork, office supplies, and other amenities.
  • Handle patient concerns and crises with empathy and patience while collaborating with site leadership to resolve, as needed.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and trainings.

Requirements:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in health care facilities and an interest in behavioral health preferred.
  • Physical requirements include occasionally lifting and moving office supplies which can include reams of paper that weigh up to 50lbs.
  • It is clearly understood that all names and materials seen in this position are strictly and highly confidential due to state and federal regulations on patient privacy. Compliance of all HIPAA related regulations will be strictly enforced by management.

Compensation: This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings for this position will start at $16.00 hourly.

*Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location. Estimates are factored on a 1.0 FTE.

* Employees in these positions are W2.
