Lifetime Wellness is seeking a compassionate, creative, and experiencedFull-Time Life Enrichment Coordinatorto join our team. This role is ideal for aCertified Activity DirectororCertified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)who is passionate about creating meaningful, engaging, and person-centered experiences for older adults in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.


The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and leading programs that support the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, vocational and spiritual well-being of residents. This position works closely with residents, families, community partners, and interdisciplinary team members to create a vibrant and purposeful environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a well-rounded life enrichment calendar that reflects resident interests, abilities, needs, and preferences.
  • Lead engaging group and individual activities that promote quality of life, social connection, independence, and personal fulfillment.
  • Complete assessments, documentation, care planning contributions, and activity participation records as required.
  • Support resident engagement through creative programming, special events, outings, wellness campaigns and community involvement.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and team members.
  • Ensure programs meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Promote a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment for all residents.


Qualifications

  • Certified Activity Director, Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, or related certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in senior living, long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare life enrichment programming required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to plan and lead creative, meaningful, and resident-centered programs.
  • Compassionate, dependable, energetic, and team-oriented.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines related to activities and life enrichment preferred.


Schedule

Full-time position. Schedule may include occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, or special events based on resident and community needs.
