Work Environment

This role is anchored in a supportive remote setting, allowing for flexibility in managing your schedule while effectively serving our clients. Our community health clinic operates from Monday to Friday, with core hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We understand that different patients have varying needs, so some flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate those in crisis or with unique circumstances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and culturally-sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' needs, integrating their unique life experiences into individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual clients, ensuring that their cultural backgrounds are respected and addressed.
  • Provide a spectrum of therapy options, including individual, family, and group sessions, focusing on resilience-building and mental health improvement.
  • Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Act as a point of crisis intervention, offering immediate support and guidance to individuals facing mental health emergencies.
  • Inform patients and their families of mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering a better understanding of their mental health journey.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation of care delivered, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus
