This role is anchored in a supportive remote setting, allowing for flexibility in managing your schedule while effectively serving our clients. Our community health clinic operates from Monday to Friday, with core hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We understand that different patients have varying needs, so some flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate those in crisis or with unique circumstances.

• Conduct thorough and culturally-sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' needs, integrating their unique life experiences into individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual clients, ensuring that their cultural backgrounds are respected and addressed.
• Provide a spectrum of therapy options, including individual, family, and group sessions, focusing on resilience-building and mental health improvement.
• Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Act as a point of crisis intervention, offering immediate support and guidance to individuals facing mental health emergencies.
• Inform patients and their families of mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, fostering a better understanding of their mental health journey.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of care delivered, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings, contributing to discussions about treatment approaches and patient progress.
• Commit to continuous professional development by staying updated with current best practices, research in mental health therapy, and cultural competency training.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited academic institution.
• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
• Proven understanding of diverse mental health disorders, along with effective evidence-based treatment methodologies and cultural competency in therapeutic practice.
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy with a focus on culturally responsive and inclusive care.
• Strong capabilities in crisis intervention and the ability to remain composed under pressure while managing difficult situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication proficiency, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with diverse client populations.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other necessary computer applications.
• Commitment to ethical practice, maintaining professional boundaries, and ensuring patient confidentiality.
• A genuine spirit of collaboration, effectively engaging within a multidisciplinary team structure.

• Experience working with culturally diverse populations and proficiency in culturally informed therapy practices.
• Prior engagement in community outreach or educational workshops related to mental health issues.
• Familiarity with relevant mental health software and documentation procedures to streamline service delivery.
