Job description

Integrative Emergency Services (IES) is seeking an Emergency Medicine Nocturnist Physician to join our team at the Baldwin Health Freestanding Emergency Department in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

This is a unique opportunity to practice Emergency Medicine in a lower-acuity freestanding ED setting just minutes from Alabama's beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, while earning competitive 1099 compensation and working with a physician-led Emergency Medicine group.

The Opportunity

The Baldwin Health Freestanding Emergency Department is a 9-bed, 24/7 emergency facility serving Gulf Shores and the surrounding coastal communities. The facility provides emergency care for both local residents and the area's significant seasonal visitor population.

About Baldwin Health

Baldwin Health is a 142-bed acute care hospital and healthcare network serving greater coastal Alabama, offering inpatient, outpatient, emergency, diagnostic and surgical services. Its medical staff represents more than 32 specialties, and the system employs more than 1,500 people.

The Gulf Shores Freestanding Emergency Department extends Baldwin Health's emergency services farther south into the rapidly growing Gulf Coast community. The facility is open 24/7 and provides advanced emergency diagnostic capabilities, including laboratory services and on-site imaging.

About Integrative Emergency Services (IES)

Integrative Emergency Services (IES) is an independent, physician-led Emergency Medicine group focused on building strong partnerships between physicians, hospitals and the communities they serve.

IES offers physicians the opportunity to practice within a collaborative organization that understands Emergency Medicine from the physician perspective. Our model emphasizes strong clinical leadership, physician engagement and long-term hospital partnerships.
