Lifepoint Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Rehabilitation Center located in Charlottesville, Virginia. This role entails evaluating, assessing, and developing tailored treatment plans for patients facing functional limitations and disabilities. Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Charlottesville, where we serve a diverse patient population requiring comprehensive rehabilitation services. In this full-time role, you can expect to work 40 hours per week, including variable weekends, in a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care and continual professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and health goals.
  • Implement and modify treatment plans as necessary, utilizing evidence-based techniques and methodologies to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Document treatment plans, progress, and billing accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and professional standards.
  • Engage in patient education, ensuring that individuals and their families understand their roles in the treatment process, including exercises and self-care strategies.
  • Consult with other healthcare providers regarding each patient’s treatment and continuum of care, effectively communicating any changes in plans.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives, quality improvement projects, and program development aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain a cooperative relationship with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation aides, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff to maximize departmental efficiency and provide optimal patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Lifepoint, you will work with a wide range of patients, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients needing support with mobility and rehabilitation post-surgery. Qualifications
