Job Summary
The Operations Specialist with The Restaurant Store is responsible for assisting the Product Lifecycle Manager with all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location. The Operations Specialist will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams.

Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment
  • Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks
  • Communicate effectively with the Merchandising and Inventory teams to sufficiently stock products in correct merchandising locations within the branch
  • Communicate effectively with the Product Lifecycle Manager to address any operational issues
  • Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as needed
  • Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store

Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Qualifications
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail, warehouses, restaurants, grocery, or other related hospitality fields.
  • Prior forklift certification a plus

Education
This role does not require a degree. We value relevant skills and experience and alignment with our core values above all else.
