Job description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Manage Sales, Bookings, and Gross Profit targets for the entire Measurement Solutions portfolio within the assigned accounts;
  • Own the bookings forecast for the portfolio and ensure timely delivery of volume commitments, implementing recovery actions as needed;
  • Negotiate business contracts, including pricing, discounts, and volume structures, within the agreed Delegation of Authority;
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and actively promote relevant solutions;
  • Maintain and implement customer growth plans, detailing progress in CRM;
  • Contextualize Emerson's outstanding selling propositions to align with customer industry needs, improving business opportunities;
  • Expand the network of contacts across accounts, identifying key stakeholders for all product lines;
  • Proactively engage with customers through various communication tools and ensure regular interaction;
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, Product Managers, and Industry Leaders to build compelling value propositions;
  • Track and understand the competitive environment and develop strategies to enhance Emerson's position;
  • Ensure accurate communication of market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer behaviors to relevant stakeholders;
  • Maintain project opportunity lists, account site plans, and CRM data for assigned accounts;
  • Work closely with Service teams to position Emerson’s installed base management offerings and lifecycle services;
  • Align with sales management to develop and implement short, medium, and long-term sales strategies for assigned accounts.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • A STEM degree or comparable technical education;
  • Demonstrated experience with measurement technologies in Life Sciences;
  • Results-driven approach with a strong interest in new technology and innovation;
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization;
  • Eye for business and a solid understanding of commercial contracts;
  • Fluent communication and presentation skills in English, French and Dutch languages;
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Application knowledge in the Life Sciences industry, including familiarity with cGMP, GAMP, and pharma digital transformation;
  • A proactive attitude toward continuous learning and adoption of new technologies;
