  • Leading engagement planning, budgeting, staffing, and delivery for complex client engagements
  • Managing executive client and sponsor relationships and driving alignment on solutions, deliverables, and outcomes
  • Leading clinical transformation initiatives, including operating model changes and process redesign across drug development workflows
  • Applying technologies such as generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and automation to improve clinical and business processes
  • Leading business development efforts, including pursuits, proposal development, pricing strategy support, and team leadership and coaching

Qualifications

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, industry, or advisory roles focused on life sciences, health care, or clinical transformation
  • 5+ years of life sciences industry experience, including significant experience in the clinical domain
  • Experience introducing generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), or automation into drug development or business processes
  • Experience leading clinical operating model transformations and evaluating or redesigning drug development workflows, key activities, inputs, outputs, and interdependencies
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Experience leading consulting engagements end-to-end across teams in multiple locations
  • Experience with clinical analytics and data-driven trial or clinical development insight solutions, including study feasibility, site selection, patient recruitment, retention, site burden, or patient burden
  • Experience with clinical data mapping, processing, data flow, or data architecture
  • Experience with clinical study design, data management, or data standards
  • Experience with medical writing or clinical content supply chain management
  • Experience leading sales pursuits, developing proposal content, and managing strategic engagements for large global organizations

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
