Life Manager information

What is a life manager?

Life Managers are professionals who help individuals organize, manage, and optimize various aspects of their personal and professional lives. They offer support with tasks such as time management, goal setting, personal organization, and sometimes even household management or concierge services. Life Managers work closely with clients to identify priorities, create actionable plans, and provide accountability, allowing clients to focus on what matters most to them. Their services can be tailored to meet individual needs, making them valuable for anyone seeking to improve productivity or achieve a better work-life balance.

How does a life manager typically collaborate with clients and other professionals to achieve client goals?

A Life Manager works closely with clients to understand their personal and professional objectives, then collaborates with a network of specialists such as financial advisors, wellness coaches, and organizational experts to provide holistic support. Regular check-ins and open communication are key to ensuring that goals are met and adjustments are made as needed. The role often involves project management, scheduling, and resource coordination, helping clients streamline their lives and focus on what matters most. Teamwork and adaptability are essential, as Life Managers must frequently liaise between clients and external service providers.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a life manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Life Manager, you need strong organizational abilities, time management, and problem-solving skills, often supported by experience in administrative assistance or personal concierge roles. Familiarity with scheduling software, digital calendars, and productivity tools is essential for efficiently coordinating tasks and managing clients’ needs. Outstanding interpersonal communication, discretion, and adaptability help build trust and tailor services to individual preferences. These skills are crucial for delivering seamless support and enhancing clients’ quality of life in a dynamic environment.

Job description

Manager - Growth Marketing, Life Sciences
Department: Marketing
Reporting to: Director - Growth Marketing Life Sciences
Location: Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing Growth Marketing Manager to help build high-impact programs for Greenfield's Life Sciences business. This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in accelerating growth for Greenfield's top priority segment. Greenfield Global provides this segment with high-purity ethanol, specialty solvents, and custom bioprocessing solutions to support the critical development and manufacturing processes for therapies, diagnostics, and life sciences products.
In this role, you will be accountable to drive awareness of Greenfield's capabilities to support pharmaceutical manufacturers, biopharma innovators, CDMOs, consumer health, and medical device companies as they scale their manufacturing processes. You will also help develop and execute full-funnel marketing programs that elevate brand awareness, generate qualified demand, strengthen customer engagement, and contribute to measurable business growth. We are looking for a marketer with strong understanding of the life sciences sector and experienced in effectively engaging this highly technical audience. Success will require strong marketing fundamentals, disciplined execution, technical curiosity, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate across sales, technical, quality, and product teams.
Who We Are:
Since 1989, Greenfield Global has been the leading producer and supplier of high-purity alcohols, specialty solvents, custom blended solutions, and fuel ethanol to businesses worldwide. Our primary markets span life sciences (pharma/biopharma, medical devices), food, flavor and fragrance, personal care, beverage alcohol, industrials, and renewable fuels. Annually, we fulfill over 35,000 orders in more than 50 countries.
We are also a company with a powerful sustainability story to tell. Our low-carbon ethanol helps industries reduce emissions and meet environmental goals, and our R&D teams are pioneering innovations in green hydrogen, green methanol, sustainable aviation fuel, and renewable natural gas. There is no shortage of compelling material - what we need is the right person to shape it into a brand narrative worthy of our ambition.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Program Ownership
  • Own the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of integrated marketing programs.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines, quality expectations, and business objectives.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, stakeholder alignment, success metrics, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders, agencies, and vendors to ensure timely execution.
  • Manage campaign budgets, vendor resources, and ROI tracking to ensure efficient use of marketing investment.

Demand Generation & Customer Growth
  • Own full-funnel marketing execution across awareness, engagement, lead generation, nurturing, conversion, retention, and expansion.
  • Execute digital, event, email, social, SEM, webinar, and conference programs that support MQL, SQL, pipeline, and customer growth goals.
  • Apply test-and-learn approaches, including audience segmentation, messaging tests, channel optimization, and campaign performance improvements.

Market Intelligence & Strategy
  • Track therapeutic pipelines and market developments that may impact business opportunities.
  • Support customer, market, competitive, and voice-of-customer analyses and translate findings into actionable business growth recommendations.
  • Support annual marketing planning, segment prioritization, and business case development.
  • Support go-to-market planning and launch execution for new products, applications, services, or segment-focused initiatives.

Content, Sales Enablement & Thought Leadership
  • Lead development of customer-centric, technically accurate content, sales tools, and account-based engagement materials.
  • Support thought leadership initiatives, including technical content, webinars, events, and subject-matter-expert collaboration that build credibility with pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical audiences.

Performance Measurement
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze results, and optimize performance using CRM, marketing automation, analytics, ABM, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Use performance insights to improve targeting, campaign effectiveness, and sales follow-up.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with sales, product management, quality, regulatory, technical, legal, and operations teams to execute marketing programs effectively.
  • Ensure marketing materials and campaigns reflect appropriate regulatory, legal, quality, and compliance considerations for life sciences markets.

Communication Excellence
  • Provide proactive updates, communicate risks early, and produce business-ready communications.

Your Experience Should Include
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, chemistry, biology, business, or a related life sciences field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience supporting life sciences, pharma, biotech, CDMO, specialty chemical, or other regulated industry customers is a must.
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Track record executing demand generation programs, supporting sales, and using marketing analytics to improve performance.
  • Strong organizational, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with AI-enabled tools, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and ABM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or similar tools.

Who you are:
