Job description

Sr. Licensing Project Manager, Easton, PA 

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Leads Crayola Licensing global project management team ensuring strong enterprise collaboration, stellar product development and licensee adherence to Crayola brand integrity standards.  Implements processes that ensure alignment with Crayola extended teams including Safety/QA, Marketing, Consumer Insights & Affairs and Merchandising.  Drives seasonal line planning process integrating with Crayola core business objectives as appropriate.  Cross pollinates product development process across territories to influence global growth.  Project manages cross category retail opportunities working closely with insights and merchandising teams to ensure strong brand presence at retail. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads team of global project managers ensuring innovation pipeline and timely execution in product development to meet retail development timelines.
  • Works closely with Category Managers, Territory Managers, Project Management and Operations teams to maximize product development pipeline and enhance revenue growth.
  • Develops internal processes to ensure licensee compliance to Crayola code of conduct and provide internal line of sight to product development.
  • Collaborates with Crayola licensing leadership, creative department, creative agencies to ensure development of on trend and brand appropriate creative assets to support licensing growth.
  • Drives innovation pipeline leveraging consumer led insights, marketplace trends and creative assets in line planning.
  • Collaborates with extended team members to project manage cross category retail sales initiatives establishing internal and external processes that enhance line planning and maximize enterprise priorities.
  • Manages Crayola QA/Safety compliance process globally, encouraging business growth while maintaining Crayola brand integrity.
  • Resolves product development differences between licensees and extended team to ensure collaborative win-win solutions.
  • Develops and executes product development communication strategy to highlight licensee initiatives and packaging to internal/external audiences. 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing discipline desired
  • Min 7 years’ business experience preferably in licensing product development
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required including the ability to communicate in a firm and direct manner.
  • Detail oriented with excellent time management skills; ability to effectively handle multiple assignments in a constantly changing environment and set priorities and manage time to hit key deliverables each day
  • Strong creative point of view with ability to create trend right style guides, product collections and retail presentations.
  • Strong people management skills, able to navigate conflict positively and effectively, seeking “win-win” solutions for all parties.
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to communicate with multiple levels within the organization.
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft word, excel, and power point
  • Basic database management skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently
  • Travel 10%
