Residency-Trained Optometrist (Medical OD)
Location: Maryland & Sahara - Las Vegas, NV
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 DOE (W-2) + Incentives (up to $10,000)
Start Date: December/January


About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Residency-Trained Medical Optometrist (OD) to join our growing and dynamic ophthalmic team in Las Vegas, NV. This is a full-scope medical optometry role within a twelve-doctor, four-location ophthalmic practice that delivers comprehensive and advanced eye care throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

The ideal candidate will be customer-service oriented, clinically strong, and eager to collaborate with a multi-specialty team of ophthalmologists and optometrists to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.


Position Highlights
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • On-Call: Rotational (One week per quarter, shared equally among providers)

  • Caseload: Approximately 40 patients per day

  • Environment: Collaborative, professional, and fast-paced

  • Start Date: December/January


Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary: DOE (W-2)

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree

  • Completion of a residency in medical optometry (required)

  • Nevada Optometry License (or eligibility)

  • New graduates with residency training are encouraged to apply

  • Strong clinical skills in:

    • Pre- and post-operative cataract management

    • Glaucoma management

    • Anterior, posterior, and neuro-ophthalmic disease care

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Customer-service focused and patient-first mindset
