Job description

Garver's Transportation Strategic Growth Team is searching for a Senior Marketing Coordinator with strong written and verbal communication skills to support transportation project pursuits in Oklahoma. This position is preferred in our Tulsa or Oklahoma City office, but other locations will be considered within the Garver footprint based on candidate qualifications.
The Senior Marketing Coordinator is a detail-oriented team player who can lead pursuits, communicate effectively, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings a background in marketing, specifically within the A/E/C industry.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage complex pursuits throughout the pipeline lifecycle with technical partners from capture planning and positioning through proposal development and interview preparations and coaching.
  • Facilitate capture planning meetings and strategy sessions in collaboration with the pursuit team to develop strategy, win themes, key messages, technical solutions, and key teaming partnerships to position for pursuits.
  • Lead development of proposal and interview messaging and content (written and visual), write original content, collaborate with technical partners, graphic designers, and other team members when necessary to develop best-in-class proposals, presentations and corresponding materials to assist in winning work.
  • Develop, conceptualize, and collaboratively work with the graphic designers to create visually appealing marketing material.
  • Work as a collaborative member of the Transportation Marketing Team to track/maintain accurate database content and boilerplate libraries for use on future projects.
  • Partner with the client service leaders and client account teams to coordinate client account meetings to optimize Garver's relationships and assist in positioning for key pursuits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for qualifications packages, proposals, and presentations.
  • Coordinate and organize large amounts of collateral, technical information, photography, written content, and external subconsultant data.
  • Responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant work on all assignments and conducting peer reviews for quality and compliance.

Basic Requirements
  • Previous experience leading marketing efforts or local and state government agencies, with preferred experience specific to Oklahoma local governments, Oklahoma Department of Transportation and Oklahoma Turnpike Authority.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written/editing skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign)
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • 8+ years of related AEC Industry experience
  • Ability to independently lead schedule, and manage the proposal process, including the ability to understand and analyze RFQ/RFP requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills: ability to meet deadlines by prioritizing and managing simultaneous projects with competing demands.
  • Previous experience in management of a customer relationship management (CRM) system
