Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer – RemanufacturingLocation: Wolfforth, TexasHours- Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM Position SummaryThe Manufacturing Engineer – Remanufacturing is responsible for the technical execution of our remanufacturing program. This position serves as the bridge between incoming customer equipment and production by evaluating existing packages, developing engineering documentation, creating bills of material, supporting fabrication, and ensuring rebuilt equipment can be manufactured efficiently.This is a highly collaborative, hands-on drafting role. The successful candidate should expect to spend approximately 30–50% of their time on the manufacturing floor working alongside production, fabrication, assembly, and quality teams to inspect equipment, resolve technical issues, validate designs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate is highly mechanical, enjoys solving unique engineering problems, and is comfortable working with existing equipment where documentation may be incomplete or unavailable.---Primary ResponsibilitiesReverse Engineering· Evaluate incoming customer pump packages.· Inspect existing components and determine refurbishment requirements.· Measure and document existing assemblies.· Develop manufacturing drawings when none exist.· Create models and drawings for replacement fabricated components.· Determine repair versus replacement recommendations.---Manufacturing Engineering· Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs).· Develop manufacturing routings.· Produce fabrication drawings for weldments and sheet metal.· Design simple brackets, mounts, guards, enclosures, and structural components.· Support fixture and tooling development.· Generate work instructions to support production.---Production Support· Work closely with fabrication, machining, assembly, purchasing, and quality teams.· Resolve manufacturing issues during production.· Review engineering changes and implement updates.· Support root cause investigations.· Improve manufacturability and reduce build hours.---Project Coordination· Assist with scope definition for remanufactured packages.· Coordinate engineering deliverables to support production schedules.· Participate in project review meetings.· Track engineering progress on assigned reman projects.---Continuous Improvement· Standardize common remanufacturing packages.· Develop reusable engineering libraries.· Identify opportunities to reduce engineering hours.· Improve documentation and standard work.· Support Lean manufacturing initiatives.---Required Qualifications· Drafting certifications, Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.· 3+ years of drafting, manufacturing or mechanical engineering experience.· Experience creating manufacturing drawings and Bills of Material.· Strong mechanical aptitude.· Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).· Experience reading fabrication and machining drawings.· Strong communication and organizational skills.---Preferred Qualifications· Experience with pumps, diesel engines, rotating equipment, or industrial machinery.· Experience reverse engineering mechanical equipment.· Familiarity with welding and fabrication processes.· Experience in manufacturing environments.· ERP experience (Odoo preferred).· Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturability).· Lean Manufacturing experience.
