Hill's Pet Nutrition is looking for a versatile and highly skilled Web Designer to join our dynamic Strategic Creative Services team. This role is essential for bringing our brand to life across our core web properties, email marketing campaigns, and digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate is a digital creative powerhouse, capable of designing successful data-and-user-driven responsive websites, managing email deployment components, and producing compelling, accessible experiences for the web. You will be a key player in the core production of creative assets that engage our consumers and support our global marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of various web design projects across multiple online properties, designing branded page layouts, templates, and website visuals using digital and UX best practices.
  • Select, retouch, and composite imagery from client-owned libraries for web environments, leveraging brand guidelines to maintain a consistent library of digital design assets.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Managers, Project Managers, UX designers, copywriters, front-end web developers, and marketing stakeholders to understand project requirements, implement web experiences, and deliver compelling, on-brand creative solutions.
  • Ensure all digital creative work adheres to Hill's brand guidelines, accessibility requirements, and global quality standards.
  • Utilize data and analytics to make informed design decisions while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment from concept through to final execution and launch.
  • Prepare and deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of formats for various online platforms and front-end production environments.
  • Author and edit pages within digital content management systems (such as Adobe Experience Manager), ensuring brand consistency and high-quality visual production standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communications, or a closely related field.
  • 4+ years of professional design experience specializing in responsive websites within an in-house creative team or agency setting.
  • A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of user interface design, UX best practices, and designing for web accessibility.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, AdobeXD or comparable web design tools along with the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop and Illustrator) to design responsive websites.
  • Strong command of graphic design principles, typography, color theory, layout composition, and responsive user interface frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Hands-on experience using enterprise web content management systems (CMS) like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to build and launch web pages.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms like Monday.com, Jira or Asana.
  • A basic understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience as an efficient self-starter in a high-volume, production-focused, and deadline-driven role.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $86,000.00 - $121,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
