    Position Summary
    The University Assistant (UA) will assist the School of Social Work programs will include the following duties:
    • Assist with academic planning, program coordination, and administrative activities across the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), Master of Social Work (MSW), and Doctor of Social Work (DSW) programs.
    • Generate reports and assist with data tracking and analysis.
    • Collaborate with program coordinators.
    • Maintain accurate electronic documentation.
    • Help track and resolve program-related processes and inquiries.
    • Provide general administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the School Of Social Work.
    • Assists with administrative and operational support for students under the instruction of program coordinators.
    • Collaborate with department administrative staff.
    • Assist with learning management systems (e.g., Blackboard and Blackboard Ultra) by providing administrative support for course organization, student access, and other functions that enhance student learning and support effective program operations.

    Qualifications
    • Experience in an academic or educational setting is a plus.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to provide courteous, professional, and effective customer service.
    • Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft word, outlook and excel applications.
    • Must be able to work on-site.

    Hours
    • Part-time position averaging 19 hours per week/ 50 weeks aligned with department hours during the academic year.
    • No evenings or weekends.
