Job description

Shutterstock's Data Partner Network (DPN) is a strategic pillar of the Data Licensing & Services AI division's growth strategy. The DPN team identifies, negotiates, and manages partnerships with content companies around the world, expanding the breadth and diversity of content available within Shutterstock's AI ecosystem. This growing network includes partners across a wide range of content modalities, including long-form video, text, conversational audio, editorial content, and more, providing a continuous pipeline of high-quality data to support our expanding portfolio of AI customers.
The Senior Manager, Content Partner Operations will play a critical role in scaling and operationalizing this ecosystem by driving clarity, consistency, and supplier-specific processes across content readiness, data refreshes, operational handoffs, and ongoing partner management.
This role will serve as an operational bridge between signed supply partners and internal teams, helping ensure that supplier information, libraries, metadata, documentation, and next steps are complete, accurate, and ready to support downstream workflows.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage ongoing operational communication with signed supply partners related to library readiness, metadata, content refreshes, and broader partner activities.
  • Maintain accurate supplier profiles and internal documentation across relevant systems.
  • Drive content readiness by tracking supplier catalog details, rights information, metadata, samples, delivery status, and related operational inputs.
  • Coordinate supplier support for initial library delivery and ongoing content updates.
  • Track supplier lifecycle and contractual milestones, including renewals, expiration dates, exclusivity periods, and partner-specific commitments.
  • Monitor supplier activity, open questions, and next steps to help ensure timely follow-through.
  • Coordinate supplier information and operational handoffs across internal teams supporting onboarding, content readiness, and customer delivery.
  • Identify and support opportunities to improve supplier workflows, documentation, and operational processes as the Data Partner Network scales.

What You'll Bring to the Role:
  • 6-8 years of experience managing supplier or partner operations, content operations, catalog operations, metadata operations, or supply-side relationships in data, AI, media, streaming, distribution, or content licensing businesses.
  • Strong experience working with metadata, content libraries, catalog structures, asset management systems, or content management workflows.
  • Experience supporting the onboarding, organization, delivery, or ongoing management of partner-supplied content libraries.
  • Strong external communication skills with the ability to manage partner-facing conversations clearly and professionally.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams and cross-functional handoffs.
  • Experience working with Confluence, Jira, Salesforce, or similar collaboration, CRM, and workflow management tools.
  • AI, machine learning, or data licensing experience is a plus.
