Job description

At the Tom James Company, an Assistant supports our sales team members, store leaders, and key organizational leaders in fulfilling our mission to be a global leader in the fashion industry. An Assistant is a valued member of the Tom James sales support team.
 
We currently have a part-time opening in our McLean, VA office. Our position is 10 hours per week at $21.50 per hour. We offer a generous PTO plan, paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan. Regular onsite attendance required. 
The right person will thrive on responsibility, ownership, and being one step ahead.

Position Details:

  • Part-time: 10 hours per week
  • $21.50/hour + PTO, paid holidays, 401(k)
  • Primarily in-office, with occasional client-facing support
 

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Turning ideas, client stories and wardrobe concepts into posts
  • Organize photos/videos 
  • Build a library of client looks and seasonal pieces
  • Grow audience — connecting with clients and have daily engagement with them
  • Monitor direct messaging and flag referral opportunities
  • Build a weekly content calendar
