Job description

  LENGTH OF WORK YEAR:  240 Days

  POSITION SUMMARY: Provide support to the Child Nutrition and Technology components to include, but not limited to, workshop registration, workshop room set-up, workshop attendance, copying of handouts, purchasing of necessary supplies and resources, travel arrangements of staff, and maintaining check-out library equipment. 

  POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: High School Diploma 

PREFERRED: Associates Degree or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE: 2 Years

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications, technology savvy with in-depth computer skills. 

  DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:   

Carries out technology and Child Nutrition components purchasing and leasing processes

Maintains technology check-out equipment process for ESC 17 staff

Provides initial support and data entry for ESC 17 workshop management system

Focus on friendly customer service in person, over the telephone and through written communications

Ability to multi-task and support technology staff in a various number of projects

Make most efficient and effective use of available technology and promote best practices within ESC 17

Maintain electronic data and physical files

Practicing effective organizational skills

Complete assignments on time and accurately

Compile information and data to produce appropriate documents, reports, letters, and memos

Follow attendance and punctuality rule

Follow ESC policies and procedures

Maintain confidentiality with regard to sensitive component and/or ESC 17 information

Demonstrate appropriate job knowledge

Assist with ESC State Base tasks and activities as directed

Other duties as assigned

  REPORTS TO: Coordinator of Technology / Coordinator of Child Nutrition

  MINIMUM SALARY: $38,497
