Job description

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Libraries are hiring a Research & Education Librarian in Lubbock, Texas. This is hands‑on health sciences librarianship — expert and mediated searching, systematic review support, and evidence‑based medicine instruction for our Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Health Professions, Population and Public Health, and Biomedical Sciences.

You'll teach the MSIV library elective, co‑teach EBM to clerkship students, and serve as liaison across a dynamic academic health center. MLS/MLIS and health sciences database experience preferred. TTUHSC was named a “Great College to Work For” in 2025, with strong benefits, TRS retirement, no Texas state income tax, and a cost of living well below the national average.
