Sentar is seeking a Proposal Manager in Huntsville, AL!

Role Description:

Sentar is seeking a Proposal Manager to support federal proposal efforts across our cybersecurity portfolio. This role manages assigned proposals from kickoff through submission while partnering with Capture, Pricing, Contracts, Business Development, and technical SMEs. The position is hands-on and execution-focused with a defined path toward Senior Proposal Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead assigned RFIs, RFPs, Task Orders, and Sources Sought responses.
  • Develop compliance matrices, schedules, outlines, templates, and proposal artifacts.
  • Coordinate kickoff meetings, writing assignments, reviews, and production.
  • Write, edit, and integrate proposal content.
  • Partner with Pricing and Contracts on cost narratives and administrative volumes.
  • Maintain proposal libraries and reusable content.
  • Recommend process improvements and support proposal automation.
  • Provide informal mentoring to junior proposal staff.

Qualifications:

Clearance Level: Secret or ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 4-7 years of federal proposal management/proposal writing experience.
  • Experience managing proposals through the full lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of FAR and proposal compliance.
  • Excellent writing, editing, organization, and communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Office, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Secret clearance.
  • Shipley and/or APMP training.
  • Experience supporting DoD or cybersecurity proposals.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work schedule with a minimum of two days per week onsite in the Huntsville, AL office.
  • Fast-paced, collaborative environment with aggressive growth targets.
  • Flexibility required for deadline-driven work, including occasional evening or weekend support.
