SUMMARY

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is a key member of the Marketing/PR team and is responsible for the administration and coordination of external and internal communication, media hosting, social media assistance, email assistance, and website content assistance for Tamarack Resort. This position will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date and relevant communication to both guests and staff and implementing strategies for content distribution and engagement across the resort. This position will also schedule, book, coordinate and be the secondary contact for all on marketing projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Create Guest communication plan with Marketing Director and Marketing Manager to build awareness of real estate, club, changes in operations, new events and promotions and upcoming events and promotions, etc.

· Improve and innovate staff communication across resort in a timely fashion as to real estate, club, changes in operations, new events and promotions and upcoming events and promotions, etc.

· Track marketing projects.

· Build distribution plan for promotional materials across resort.

· Assist in office administration as needed.

· Assist Social & Content Manager in coordinating photo and video shoots.

· Archive media coverage and industry trends.

· Support Marketing and Communications with various tasks.

· Assist with internal coordination and hosting of marketing guests and press tours.

· Assist in maintaining and organize company digital asset library.

· Assist PR Agency in writing and distributing press releases, calendar listings and media alerts.

· Assist in coordination and production of winter and summer press kits as needed.
