POSITION GOALS
• The Digital Content & Design Assistant will report directly to the Marketing and Brand Strategy Manager and will be creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative. The role will support digital and print communications efforts by designing visually compelling materials for diverse audiences and platforms while maintaining strong brand consistency. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, experience using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to work effectively as part of a marketing and communications team.

Job Description
• Create brand-aligned content to support institutional storytelling
• Draft and edit written materials and visual content
• Apply brand and style guidelines consistently across all communications
• Design and produce digital and print materials, including flyers, posters, social graphics, email graphics, signage, and related marketing assets, using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Resize and adapt existing documents and designs for multiple formats and channels (print, web, email, social media).
• Participate in the creation and production of social media assets, including posts, stories, reels covers, banners, and thumbnails, aligned with platform specifications and campaign goals.
• Prepare files for professional print production, ensuring correct sizing, resolution, bleed, and export specifications.
• Provide administrative support for marketing initiatives, including file organization, data entry, and record maintenance.
• Maintain institutional brand standards across all materials, including logos, color palettes, typography, tone, and layout.
• Collaborate with the Communications/Marketing team on campaigns, events, and special projects.
• Contribute ideas and creative support as part of a team environment.
• Manage multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years of graphic design experience
• Experience preparing files for commercial print production
• Familiarity with higher education or nonprofit communications preferred
• Experience managing digital assets and image libraries
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Reliability, flexibility, and effective time management.
