About Us:
At Mr. Handyman of West Augusta - Thomson, we take pride in providing top-notch home improvement, repair, and maintenance services to our customers. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional service with a friendly and professional approach.

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) who is highly organized, customer-focused, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. If you thrive in a dynamic setting, enjoy working with people, and can seamlessly shift between tasks, we'd love to have you on our team!

Schedule & Pay:

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • $14–$22/hour, based on experience
  • In-office position at our Martinez, GA location

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and manage inbound calls, emails, and online booking requests promptly and professionally.
  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer support, addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and handling service requests.
  • Ask thoughtful clarifying questions to fully understand each client's needs, especially when the client isn't familiar with the technical details of the job — for example, requesting photos or asking specifics like prong count and outlet type when scheduling a washer/dryer hookup, to make sure the right parts and technician show up.
  • Assist technicians in the field by relaying messages, updating schedules, and coordinating job details.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, job details, and schedules using our internal systems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding service timelines, technician arrivals, and follow-up needs.
  • Process payments, invoices, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Prior customer service experience required, preferably in a service-based industry.
  • Strong attention to detail — comfortable asking follow-up questions to nail down exactly what a job requires before it's scheduled.
  • Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus but not required—training will be provided.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to shift between phone calls, emails, and technician support.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and scheduling software.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer/phone throughout the shift.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to exceptional customer service.
