About the Role:

The Associate Project Manager, Operational Delivery & Content Platforms is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuity of Wiley's clinical content platforms, including Cochrane Library.

Acting as a central operational lead, this role serves as a key escalation point and cross-functional coordinator, partnering with Editorial, Technology, Product, Customer Support, and Commercial teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. The Associate Project Manager drives operational excellence, manages incidents and risks, oversees content delivery workflows, and supports strategic change initiatives to ensure reliable access to mission-critical clinical content.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Operational Delivery & Platform Stability

  • Manage the day-to-day operational performance of the Cochrane Library.
  • Monitor content delivery pipelines, partner feeds, and access management systems to ensure efficient content distribution.
  • Ensure platform reliability and service continuity while minimizing disruption to customers and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex operational issues affecting content availability and delivery.

Incident Management & Service Governance

  • Lead incident triage, coordination, communication, and resolution across cross-functional teams.
  • Manage major incidents, ensuring timely stakeholder communication and successful restoration of services.
  • Continuously improve incident management processes, governance frameworks, and escalation procedures.
  • Facilitate post-incident reviews and drive corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.

Performance Reporting & Operational Excellence

  • Develop and maintain operational reporting, including service-level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Create dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide stakeholders with actionable operational insights.
  • Track maintenance events and system changes across platforms and integrations, communicating potential impacts to stakeholders.
  • Analyze trends, identify risks, and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a key liaison between Editorial, Technology, Product, Customer Support, Sales, and external partners.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective operational delivery.
  • Communicate operational priorities, risks, and platform updates proactively and clearly.
  • Facilitate collaboration and alignment across teams to support decision-making and successful outcomes.

Content Operations & Workflow Management

  • Oversee content ingestion, validation, publishing, and workflow management processes.
  • Ensure operational processes are scalable, efficient, and well documented.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance content operations through process improvements and automation.
  • Support the management of partner integrations and content dependencies.

Change Management & Business Continuity

  • Lead or support operational and platform change initiatives, including system enhancements, metadata transitions, content structure updates, and user experience improvements.
  • Manage stakeholder communications during periods of change.
  • Ensure continuity of operations during organizational, platform, or product transitions.
  • Mitigate risk through effective documentation, handovers, and knowledge transfer activities.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage operational risks and dependencies.
  • Maintain visibility of ongoing issues, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Implement solutions that improve platform resilience, scalability, and efficiency.
