The NYC Beekman Library is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented part-time student worker to join our circulation team. Student workers play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the library, working with library collections, assisting patrons, and contributing to a welcoming and productive environment for students, faculty, and staff. In addition to performing miscellaneous clerical duties, the Student Assistant will also be required to assist with various department projects as assigned.
Circulation Desk Assistance:
- Provide exceptional customer service to library patrons by assisting with check-outs, reserves, returns, loaning technology, renewals, and holds.
- Answer general inquiries related to library services, policies, and procedures.
- Help patrons locate books, journals, and other materials using the library's catalog and online resources.
