THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION REQUIRING 2 DAYS PER WEEK (TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY) EACH WEEK IN-PERSON AT OUR OFFICE LOCATED IN THE STREETERVILLE/MAG MILE AREA OF DOWNTOWN CHICAGO, IL.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Multimedia Content Senior Coordinator is a key contributor within the Content Strategy and Delivery Center of Excellence (COE), responsible for concepting, creating, and producing high-impact digital content across a variety of multimedia channels�with a strong emphasis on short and long form video. This role blends creative, visual storytelling with strategic execution, delivering compelling visual content for web, social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Instagram YouTube, etc.) , podcasts, and emerging digital platforms.
The Multimedia Senior Coordinator brings both technical production expertise and a strong creative voice, using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and AI-powered content creation platforms to produce innovative, audience-centric assets. Working closely with the Creative Content Lead and cross-functional teams, this role ensures that all content aligns with brand standards, supports organizational priorities, and drives engagement and performance.
Works under the direction of the Creative Content Lead to execute multimedia initiatives, support organizational campaigns, maintain brand consistency, and expand the organization's audio and visual storytelling capabilities across digital channels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Multi-Media Content Creation & Production
  • Concept, script, produce, and edit video content for digital channels.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Content Lead during campaign planning and content development.
  • Assist in translating organizational goals into visual storytelling opportunities.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions.
  • Recommend multimedia solutions aligned with communication objectives.
  • Create/produce, edit and publish podcast/audio content.
  • Organize and maintain digital asset libraries.
  • Manage video, photography, and multimedia archives.
  • Maintain file naming conventions and asset retrieval processes.
  • Support DAM (Digital Asset Management) best practices.
  • Develop motion graphics and multimedia assets.

Photography Responsibilities
  • Capture professional photography of (and for) organizational events, meetings, and leadership initiatives.
  • Produce executive and staff headshots.
  • Create photo libraries for marketing and communications use.
  • Edit and optimize photography assets for digital and print channels.
  • Manage photography workflows and image archiving.
  • Manage equipment (setup/teardown).
  • Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and operation of production equipment.
  • Manage check-out processes for multimedia assets and gear.

Digital Content Execution
  • Translate strategy into engaging multimedia content.
  • Recommend formats and storytelling approaches.
  • Ensure all multimedia content adheres to AOA brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Content Lead on visual consistency and brand evolution.
  • Support the implementation of brand guidelines across multimedia channels.

Brand Stewardship
  • Ensure all multimedia content adheres to AOA brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Content Lead on visual consistency and brand evolution.
  • Support the implementation of brand guidelines across multimedia channels.

Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze content performance and audience engagement.
  • Provide recommendations based on performance metrics.
  • Assist in optimizing future content strategies by using data insights.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Mandatory:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong video production experience, including adept management of camera, audio, and lighting equipment
  • Experience across digital platforms
  • Knowledge of AI creator tools
  • Manage and organize digital and audio content assets

Preferred:
  • Motion graphics and animation experience
  • CMS and SEO familiarity
  • Strong video and photography for digital content production is a plus.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience:
3�5 years in multimedia or content production
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Hybrid work in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with occasional travel for on-site shoots
Candidates will be asked to provide a portfolio demonstrating video production, editing, photography, motion graphics, and digital storytelling work.
Salary Range: $28.13/hr - $29.81/hr
