GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist reports to the Director of Human Resources and supports employee engagement and retention initiatives for our Columbus, GA manufacturing facilities, including our newest start-up chemical manufacturing facility. The HR Generalist will operate as the onsite resource with responsibilities that include but are not limited to coordinating HR processes, supporting recruitment, onboarding and training new hires, providing benefit information and policy interpretation, reinforcing a performance driven and accountable culture, addressing employee relations concerns, ensuring compliance with company policies, federal, state, and local laws, and maintaining accurate electronic employee records for HRIS data integrity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree from accredit four or 5-year college or university, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Psychology, or related field.

TRAVEL REQUIRED:
Tremco operates 3 manufacturing facilities within a 10-mile radius and will be required to travel by automobile to all local facilities regularly.
WORK LOCATION: Onsite at our Columbus, GA manufacturing facility on Corporate Ridge Drive.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and lift to 25 lbs.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $57,500 and $65,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, business needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
