Job description


Job Title: Student Worker - Arts & Special Collection Research Center - Student Assistant
Job Classification: Business Operations, Student
Department: Central Libraries
Hiring Manager: Jon Snyder

Work Schedule: 12 hours per week, between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm; preference given to availability MWF 8:00 am-10:00 am and TTH 9:00 am-2:30 pm.
Desired Length of Employment: Ongoing
Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour
Job Description:
  • Provide mid to advanced-level administrative and operational support for day-to-day tasks
  • May serve as initial contact for in-person guests or callers; provide excellent customer service
  • May generate, prepare, and analyze reports or perform forecasting
  • May create creative content or maintain department website(s)
  • May assist with special projects and initiatives supporting departmental goals
  • May assist with planning or coordination of events
  • May assist with identifying areas of improvement and recommending solutions
  • May assist with compliance processes
  • May assist with maintaining internal databases and records
  • May assist with developing processes and procedures
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
