Compensation Range:
$14.42 - $14.42
Position Summary:
Hiring compensation: $14.42 per hour.
Job Summary:
This position provides specialized work under the direction of the Coordinator of Services for Students with Disabilities in the writing (note taking) of information provided orally to a disabled student in a classroom situation. Attends class with the student, takes notes, records all due dates of assignments, maintains confidential information regarding the student, accompanies the student to course laboratory and to the library for research work when note taking is required.
Job Duties:

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • previous note taking experience
  • student of Hillsborough Community College with at least 12 hours and a GPA of 3.0 or better
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Supplemental Job Information:
This position will be scheduled for no more than 25 hours per week. This position will require the flexibility of working in-person in the campus Academic Success Center. Evening hours will be required, and weekend hours may be required.
