Job description

Library Assistant

The Library Assistant's task is to insure the continued functioning of the library when the librarian is not present. The Library Assistant will insure circulation continues unimpeded: checking in and out books and answering the patrons queries. Knowledge of the library's database, Sierra, is essential. If problems arise, the Library Assistant should contact the librarian for guidance.

The decorum of the library is to remain intact.

The library hours of 9 PM - 12 AM must be kept, therefore punctuality of time is of immeasurable importance.

Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students faculty and colleagues.

Maximum Salary: USD $17.00/Hr.

Minimum Salary: USD $17.00/Hr.
