Job description

Sons of Liberty Gun Works is seeking a detail-oriented, mechanically capable Production Armorer to support assembly, inspection, repair, and testing of rifles and components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is not a hobbyist role. The right candidate understands that consistency, accountability, and production discipline matter more than internet gun knowledge.


The Production Armorer is responsible for building rifles to SOLGW standards, maintaining quality control throughout the assembly process, identifying issues before products leave the facility, and contributing to continuous process improvement. Candidates must be capable of working efficiently without sacrificing quality.


Responsibilities

  • Assemble AR-platform rifles, upper receivers, and components to SOLGW specifications
  • Perform detailed inspections, gauging, and function checks throughout assembly process
  • Diagnose and correct assembly or component issues
  • Test-fire and evaluate firearms for reliability and performance
  • Maintain production throughput while meeting strict quality standards
  • Accurately document builds, repairs, serial numbers, and QC data
  • Support warranty, RMA, and repair work as needed
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations, tools, and inventory
  • Assist with inventory control and parts verification
  • Follow all company safety procedures and ATF compliance requirements
  • Communicate production issues, recurring defects, or process inefficiencies to leadership

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to properly use armorer’s tools, torque tools, gauges, and measuring equipment
  • Understanding of firearms function, tolerances, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work on repetitive tasks without quality degradation
  • Comfortable working in a production environment with deadlines and output expectations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be legally eligible to possess firearms
