Job description

Join a growing accounting team supporting month-end close, financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives for a large, complex organization. This role offers exposure to technical accounting, operational reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to contribute to system enhancements and continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close workpapers.
  • Support month-end close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and recommend necessary adjustments.
  • Assist with accounting for complex transactions, including revenue recognition, incentives, warranties, debt, and other technical accounting areas.
  • Prepare and review financial and operational reports, providing insights to business partners and leadership.
  • Support general ledger maintenance, process improvements, and system enhancement initiatives.
  • Partner with operations, finance, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules, workpapers, and supporting documentation.
  • Support SOX compliance activities, internal controls, and financial statement disclosures.
  • Research technical accounting matters and prepare supporting analyses and documentation.
  • Participate in special projects, system implementations, and process optimization efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP/accounting systems.
  • Experience with internal controls, audits, and SOX compliance preferred.
  • CPA and/or public accounting foundation strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, OneStream, or similar financial systems is a plus.
