Job description

Seasonal (SEAS) Position

An individual who ensures the safety of patrons in and around the waterfront by monitoring swimmers and enforcing safety rules and regulations. Lifeguards are skilled swimmers and display leadership characteristics, communication skills and assertiveness as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 17 years of age (or 16 years of age with one year of experience as a Lifeguard Aide). Must have current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training (LGT), Waterfront Lifeguard Certification, and Professional Rescuer CPR.

Additional Qualifications:

Certification as above, and Division Aquatic policy and procedures set forth by the manual.

Hours are 9am-5pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day, including weekends

$20.50 -$21.00 hourly, no benefits
