Your Role:

  • Provide individual and family therapy to children and families in both office and school settings, utilizing evidence base therapeutic techniques.
  • Offer psychoeducation, prevention programming and advocacy to empower children and families with the tools they need to build resilience, manage stress, and thrive mentally and emotionally.
  • Assess and provide crisis intervention during high-stress situations, ensuring clients’ safety with effective risk assessments and safety planning.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay on top of the latest therapeutic practices, ensuring you’re always equipped to offer the best care possible.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master's degree in a mental health-related field, must have or be eligible for a provisional license (PLPC or LMSW) or full license of an (LPC, LMSW, LMFT) in the state of Missouri.
  • A mission-driven individual who fully embraces and models LFCS values and can forge a mutually respectful partnership with people served and their families.
  • This position requires you to work 2-3 evenings per week.
