Job Description

NorthStar Hospitality, a member of the Greer Companies, is a family-owned hospitality and commercial real estate development company headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky.

Greer Companies has developed, owned and operated over 60 full service independent and national chain restaurants, and several fine casual eateries. It is also a franchisee and operator of multiple hotel chains including: Marriott, Hilton and InterContinental.


Job Summary

This position will be responsible to deliver food, beverage or other amenities and assemble orders to go.

Core Work Activities

  • Ensure all room service orders are correct and up to the guest in an adequate amount of time
  • Work with the culinary and front office team to create a memorable experience for our guest.
  • Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods.
  • Breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.

Physical Activities and Requirements

  • Frequently move and transport objects weighing less than or equal to 40 pounds without assistance and in excess of 40 pounds with assistance.
  • Must stay in a stationary position and/or move for extended periods across an entire work shift.
  • Frequently communicates and exchanges information with co-workers, including in environments with moderate noise levels.
  • Sometimes requires carefully maneuvering in tight spaces such as kitchens, dining areas, and other food preparation areas.

Performs other duties as assigned and needed.
