Job description

You're an original. So are we.
Levi Strauss & Co. isn't your typical retailer. We've been pushing boundaries since 1873, inventing the blue jean, redefining khakis, and breaking barriers with size-inclusive activewear. We champion sustainability and ethical practices. Our brands (Levi's®, Beyond Yoga®) stand for freedom and self-expression.
We're looking for a Manager, Retail Labor & Analytics to support labor planning, productivity reporting, workforce management tools and processes, and operational insights that help improve store performance and profitability. In this role, you will lead a small analytics team and partner closely with Retail Operations, Finance, Global Retail, Field Leadership, IT, and Product teams. You will report to the Senior Director, Retail and Omnichannel Operations.
Responsibilities
  • Support the review and refinement of labor standards through time-in-motion studies, workflow mapping, and process analysis
  • Manage day-to-day workforce management activities, including schedule guidance, staffing assumptions, and labor planning inputs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams - most closely with Global Retail and Finance - to improve the technologies stores use to schedule labor, plan resources, and access operational insights
  • Identify opportunities to streamline store processes and support implementation of new capabilities
  • Support payroll budget management, including tracking payroll performance, analyzing sensitivities, and identifying risks or opportunities
  • Contribute to fleet segmentation and store-level target setting for sales, productivity, and margin
  • Provide descriptive analytics, reporting, and insights related to store performance goals and operational programs
  • Oversee field reporting tools and routines, including reporting processes for store and monthly business reviews
  • Support management of the store incentive program, including reporting, analysis, and operational follow-up
  • Analyze opportunities, support forecasting, and measure the impact of initiatives in the store environment
  • Partner with field teams to identify performance outliers and provide data-driven insights to support follow-up actions
  • Collaborate with Global Retail, Finance, IT and Product teams to support the launch and adoption of tools that improve store and labor productivity
  • Lead, coach, and develop two direct reports at the Senior Analyst and Analyst levels, ensuring clear priorities, strong execution, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in workforce management, retail operations analytics, labor planning, or related analytical roles
  • Strong understanding of workforce management, retail analytics, and data modeling; experience with Kronos, ProWFM or similar workforce management systems is helpful
  • Ability to build business cases and conduct inventory, productivity, payroll, and labor analytics
  • Working knowledge of retail processes and service models, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve operating routines
  • Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • Experience supporting or implementing labor standards in a retail environment preferred
  • Experience leading direct reports or project teams, with the ability to coach, prioritize work, and drive execution through others
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working with diverse cross-functional partners, including field teams, Finance, IT, and Product teams
We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters. Whether it is for medical care, taking time off, improving your health or planning for retirement, we've got you covered. Here's a small snapshot:
  • 401K match: $1.25 for every $1.00 you contribute up to the first 6% of pay you save.
  • Five hours of paid volunteer time per month with nonprofit organizations
  • Product discount of 50% off regular-price merchandise

The expected starting salary range for this role is $112,000- $165,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
Levi Strauss & Co. (LS&Co.) offers a total rewards package that includes competitive pay, incentive plans, and a wide array of benefits designed to help you and your family stay healthy, meet your financial goals, and balance the demands of your work and personal life.
