Job description
The Field Technician II is responsible for onsite support for our clients including servers, desktops, laptops, network components and software. If you don't want to be stuck behind a desk this is the position for you. Field Technician II primary responsibility will be providing level 2 on-site support all our customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Field Technician II Required Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage Windows Servers
Support for Microsoft Server products, including Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, RDS
VMWare and VCenter experience and/or certifications is a plus
Configuration and support of server functions including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and more
Service and support of network components: Internet connectivity, routers, switches, firewalls, and security
Strong working knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting for Unifi, Sonicwall, Meraki, Sophos Devices
Configuration and support of Veeam backup services and devices
Experience using Remote Monitoring tools
Support for desktop operating systems, including Windows 7, 8, 10, 11
Hardware installation and troubleshooting
Ability to communicate effectively
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Positive attitude
Team player
Ability to manage time efficiently and maintain current and accurate records in ConnectWise ticketing system.
Communicate to clients: Provide detailed ticket notes, ability to explain issues in a way a client can understand
Remain current on IT trends and new technologies

Field Technician II Education, Experience and Skills
Minimum of 2 yearsโ€™ experience in a sysadmin/Helpdesk role
Strong customer service and communicating effectively
Able to manage incidents involving different technologies and vendors from inception to resolution
Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle required
Tier 2 Field Technician EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum High School Degree/GED
Technical certifications: MS/O365; Network Certification preferred (Network+ or Cisco certification)
