Job description

Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls (all three supported locations). Required Skills โ€ข Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
โ€ข Physical installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices (Cisco-based)
โ€ข System level design and architecture of enterprise security, datacenter virtualization, and CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure
โ€ข Expert security enterprise boundary and datacenter architecture and design
โ€ข Packet capture software proficiency
โ€ข Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols
โ€ข Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols
โ€ข Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls and L3/L4 access controls Qualifications โ€ข 6 years demonstrable experience (with a degree, or 11 without) with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
