What We’re Looking For:

Altra Home Health is seeking caring and dependable professionals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA). In this role, you will provide essential personal care services designed to support the daily needs, comfort, and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient laundry when necessary.

  • Provide medication reminders.

  • Ensure patient safety.

  • Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor.

  • Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required.

  • Monitor and record patient temperature.

  • Assist patients with ambulation.

  • Conduct a range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.

  • Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.

  • Offer bathing assistance.

  • Perform light housekeeping.

  • Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.

  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.

  • Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.

  • Current CPR certification.

  • Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

  • Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be hired as Home Health Aides and will perform the same essential job functions.
