Social Media Manager & Content Producer

Lemonade Hospitality

North Miami Beach, FL • On-site

Full-time

Posted 8 days ago

Job description

Lemonade Hospitality is looking for a Social Media Manager & Content Producer with exceptional creative instincts to shape how The Sunny shows up on social.
The Sunny gives this person a lot to work with: a beachfront hotel, restaurants and bars, a pool and beach, events, interesting guests, food, design, music, partnerships, and the everyday moments that make a hotel feel alive. We are looking for someone who knows how to find the story in all of it - and turn it into content people actually want to watch, follow, save, and share.
This is a highly hands-on creative role. You should be as comfortable behind a camera as you are in the edit, with a strong understanding of composition, light, pacing, sound, and social-first storytelling. You know the difference between content that is technically good and content that has a point of view, and you have the taste and judgment to make The Sunny feel distinctive rather than like every other hotel on Instagram.
You will own the day-to-day execution of The Sunny's social presence - from developing ideas and capturing original content to editing, publishing, community engagement, and coordinating creators and influencers. You will work within the broader brand strategy and creative direction established by the Senior Director of Brand & Strategic Operations, with day-to-day direction and support from the Senior Manager, Brand Experiences.
We are looking for someone curious, observant, proactive, and deeply tuned into culture and the way people consume content now. Someone who notices the moment worth capturing before anyone has to ask, brings ideas to the table, and is excited to build a social presence that feels unmistakably like The Sunny.
Core Responsibilities
Content Production & Creation
  • Ideate, produce, capture, and edit original social-first content for The Sunny and its outlets.
  • Photograph and film hotel spaces, food and beverage, programming, partnerships, team members, and guest experiences with a sophisticated lifestyle perspective.
  • Produce short-form video and Reels with strong pacing, music, transitions, color, and narrative flow.
  • Create platform-specific content that feels native to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
  • Identify spontaneous and planned content opportunities across the property.
  • Maintain a reliable production rhythm that supports campaigns, seasonal priorities, events, and day-to-day storytelling.
  • Own and maintain The Sunny’s digital asset management (DAM) system, ensuring photography, video, graphics, source files, and final assets are organized, properly tagged, current, rights-cleared, and easy for internal teams and external partners to find and use.
Social Media Management
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of all assigned social media channels.
  • Maintain and execute the social content calendar in alignment with approved strategy and priorities.
  • Write captions and social copy that reflect The Sunny's established voice.
  • Schedule, publish, and quality-check content across platforms.
  • Monitor comments, direct messages, tags, mentions, and relevant conversations.
  • Coordinate timely responses and escalate guest-service or reputation issues appropriately.
Community Building
  • Build meaningful relationships with guests, followers, local creators, community partners, and aligned brands.
  • Identify, secure permission for, and thoughtfully use high-quality user-generated content.
  • Engage proactively with relevant local and lifestyle accounts.
  • Help turn online engagement into stronger affinity, participation, and community around The Sunny.
Influencer & Creator Coordination
  • Research creators and influencers who align with The Sunny's audience and aesthetic.
  • Coordinate approved creator visits, hosted stays, activations, schedules, and on-property logistics.
  • Communicate expectations, brand information, and deliverables clearly.
  • Track content commitments, usage rights, final assets, and performance.
  • Maintain organized creator records and identify promising long-term relationships.
Light-Touch Creative Support
  • Create polished social graphics and simple digital or print assets in Canva.
  • Resize, adapt, and update existing approved creative for different formats.
  • Provide light creative support for presentations, event materials, offers, and promotional needs when capacity allows.
  • Maintain organized working files and final assets in the team's digital library.
  • Own day-to-day guest-facing signage needs across the property, including adapting or developing simple on-brand creative, coordinating approvals, and managing production, printing, and installation as needed.
Brand Execution
  • Execute the established social strategy and creative direction consistently.
  • Apply brand standards to every post, story, caption, cover image, edit, and community interaction.
  • Exercise strong creative judgment when selecting angles, frames, edits, audio, crops, and publishing formats.
  • Bring forward fresh content ideas and platform observations that support the established direction.
  • Respond constructively to feedback and revise work with speed and care.

What We Are Looking For
  • Exceptional brand instincts and a refined eye for premium lifestyle content.
  • A portfolio demonstrating original photography and professionally edited short-form video.
  • Strong understanding of composition, natural light, movement, color, pacing, music, and visual storytelling.
  • The ability to independently create compelling content from concept through final edit.
  • Excellent copywriting and sensitivity to brand voice.
  • Initiative, curiosity, organization, and an obsessive commitment to quality.
  • A hospitality mindset and the interpersonal confidence to capture people and experiences naturally.
Experience & Technical Skills
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in social media management, content production, content creation, or a closely related role.
  • Experience with hospitality, travel, food and beverage, fashion, luxury, or lifestyle brands strongly preferred.
  • Professional proficiency in mobile-first photography and video production.
  • Professional proficiency in short-form editing using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Canva required.
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects preferred.
Application Requirement
Applicants must submit a portfolio demonstrating original photography and short-form video work. Candidates without relevant work samples will not be considered.
Portfolio quality will be the primary factor in candidate evaluation.
Success in This Role
  • The Sunny develops a recognizable and consistently elevated visual presence across social channels.
  • High-quality content is produced reliably without constant prompting or creative rescue.
  • The online community becomes more active, connected, and engaged.
  • Programming, partnerships, outlets, and hotel moments are captured with strong taste and storytelling.
  • Creator relationships are organized, brand-aligned, and productive.
  • The overall quality and sophistication of The Sunny's published content materially improves.
