This is a position to work for Purple Blossom Partners LLC, an Oakberry Acai Franchisee.
Position Overview:
The Team Member plays a fundamental role in delivering an exceptional Oakberry customer experience. This position requires enthusiasm, professionalism, and consistency in maintaining our service and product standards. Team Members are essential in ensuring the store operates smoothly, stays clean and organized, and offers every guest a memorable, positive moment.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Members are expected to execute the following core responsibilities:
  • Arrive on time and ready to work every scheduled shift.
  • Set up the store following Oakberry standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace always.
  • Prepare açaí bowls, smoothies, refreshers, toppings, snacks, beverages, and specials with excellent quality and presentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service: greeting, engage, serve, and close interactions warmly.
  • Operate the POS system accurately, handle payments with integrity.
  • Actively recommend add-ons and specials to elevate customer experience and increase sales.
  • Restock items throughout the shift; maintain inventory organization.
  • Assist with receiving vendor orders, inspecting items for accuracy and quality.
  • Follow sanitation procedures.
  • Wear the Oakberry uniform properly and adhere to brand standards.

Tasks Guidance:
Customer Experience Execution:
  • Greet every customer and maintain eye contact, smile naturally, and acknowledge customers waiting in line.
  • Master the menu, suggesting ad-on.
  • Personalize recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Maintain speed without compromising quality.

Cleanliness:
  • Clean store front, service area, customer area, back of the house and restroom.
  • Keep utensils, containers, and the other equipment clean and properly organized and remove trash.

Inventory:
  • Receive and put away deliveries following the required process.
  • Store and manage ingredients using FIFO.
  • Perform counts of determined items following manager guidance.

Qualifications:
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to obtain a Food Handler Certificate.
  • Ability to use scheduling apps such as 7Shifts.
  • Be able to handle and lift boxes with 20-30 lbs.

Compensation:
  • Team Member: $15 to $18 (Salary + tips).
  • Tips are 100% applied to the sales you did, no pool tips.
