Job description

Leidos Health and Services Sector currently has an opening for a Cloud Engineer to support the Military OneSource program.
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting secure cloud environments and enterprise applications that support mission-critical program operations. This role will work closely with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to deploy, troubleshoot, automate, and optimize cloud-based solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services in AWS and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Support cloud integrations, application deployments, and infrastructure modernization efforts.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud operational activities.
  • Monitor cloud environments and assist with troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
  • Support disaster recovery, backup, and system resiliency activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to maintain secure and compliant cloud environments.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification or equivalent cloud certification.
  • Experience supporting AWS cloud environments.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications and cloud integrations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Security+ certification.
  • Experience supporting Federal or DoD programs.
  • Experience with Azure, MuleSoft, Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Familiarity with RMF, cloud security, and disaster recovery best practices.

Additional Requirements
  • Ability to maintain program suitability and clearance requirements.
  • Dedicated remote workspace with reliable high-speed wired internet connectivity.
