n this role, you'll be the friendly face kids can count on after school-helping with homework, leading games, creating arts & crafts masterpieces, and ensuring each child has a safe, happy, and enriching experience.

  
What You'll Be Doing (Besides Being Awesome)

  • Homework Helper: Encourage and assist kids with schoolwork.
  • Creative Director: Lead engaging activities like crafts, games, reading, and sports.
  • Outdoor Adventurer: Supervise playtime and get moving with the kids!
  • Positive Role Model: Promote teamwork, kindness, and confidence.
  • Safety First: Keep a watchful eye on every child-always within sight and sound.
  • Cleanup Champ: Ensure play areas and classrooms stay clean, organized, and safe.
  • Communicator Extraordinaire: Share important info with parents, kids, and coworkers.
  • Master of Rotations: Help groups move smoothly between activities.

What You Bring to the Playground

  • A genuine love for working with children (and a great sense of humor doesn't hurt!)
  • The ability to stay cool and professional-even when things get loud or silly
  • Top-notch communication and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience with youth programs, summer camps, or child care is a big plus
  • Coursework or experience in childhood education is a bonus!
  • Must pass state background checks (safety is our top priority)

The Logistics

  • Must be able to walk, bend, lift, and play during your shift
  • Be available Monday-Friday between 12:00-6:00 PM (some weekends/holidays may be needed)
