Job description

Production Technician

Position: Production Technician
Location:  Corbin, KY
Shift:  Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

The Broken Token has opportunities for entry-level Production Techs at our Corbin location. Broken Token offers medical, dental, and vision benefits, has generous discounts for company products, and allows access to machinery for personal projects.  

Your responsibilities will consist of, but not be limited to:
  • Approve or reject finished materials with respect to quality standards
  • Do random testing of products before packaging to ensure dimensions and functionality meets the company standards
  • Basic woodworking as needed using belt sanders and circular saw 
  • Package products for shipping
  • Accurately report personal output for project/shift
  • Report to the supervisor on the floor about any machinery that is not working properly
  • Basic woodworking using belt sanders and circular saw
  • Assist with cleaning the workshop and surrounding areas
  • Assist with inventory stocking and counts
  • Other duties as needed
Requirements:
  • Occasionally able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand for long periods of time during shift
  • Able to multitask and change projects quickly as needed
  • Attentive to details in process execution
  • A quick starter who can work independently and interact well with others
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal communication skills
Pluses
  • Previous woodworking experience (either professionally or in school)
  • Previous Machine Shop experience
  • Passionate about board games and LEGO
