Job description

Venable LLP's Commercial Litigation Group seeks a mid-to-senior level associate with three to seven years of experience to join the practice in the Denver office.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding academic credentials, exceptional oral and written communication skills, and strong research, writing, and analytical abilities. Candidates should thrive in a collaborative team environment, demonstrate sound judgment, and be ready to assume significant responsibility in managing complex commercial litigation matters.

Responsibilities include supporting all phases of commercial litigation, with a focus on complex disputes, as well as participating in client development initiatives, including pitches, presentations, and other business development activities.

Prior law firm experience is preferred. Candidates must have a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the Colorado bar. Please include a law school transcript and writing sample with submissions.

The salary range for associate positions is $215,000 to $355,000 per year, depending upon associate level. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job-related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities and performance.
